FAQ - Frequently Ask Questions

WhereTo has two fees assigned to our subscribers: 1) a minimal delivery, and 2) an annual app download fee of $.99 cents.
In each market we operate there is a minimum delivery fee assigned to the product category. From there the merchant assigns a delivery fee that is not to go below our agreed upon minimum. Delivery fees will vary from industry to industry – due to the qualitative needs to transport the product. For instance transporting Floral arrangements are more costly than transporting food. We do not factor in distance, because there is a system default 10 mile radius.
Currently you are able to order from multiple stores, but you will accrue fees for multiple stores. We are working on a low cost multi-store delivery fee for your convenience.
For returns WhereTo will not handle the physical return, however, if a return is accepted by the merchant then we will process refunds. We have to comply with each individual store returns. For any food, drink, or grocery items we will not grant refund for returns, nor do we endorse returns. For retail, clothing, and electronic items we will not personal pick up and return the item, however if you return the item in store WhereTo will honor refunds that are in line with the merchant you order from.
All persons that purchase and receive alcohol must be 21 or older. WhereTo drivers will request alcohol recipient’s legal Identification (ID), a signature, and will take a picture of your ID to ensure authenticity. The recipient and purchaser name of the order must be the same. Your signature and photograph of your ID will be shared with the merchant from where you purchased your alcoholic beverage and the governing agency of Alcohol Beverage Control within the state which you purchased the alcoholic beverage.
No! WhereTo will not shop on the behalf of the customer, and our customer service team will not place orders on your behalf. You have access to both mobile and web platforms which are linked directly to the merchant you desire to order from. The merchant will complete your order when received and assign the driver when the order is ready for pick up. If you have not received a notification that your order has been accepted within 5-10 minutes of placing the order, please reach out to WhereTo (customerservice@shopwhereto.com) or the merchant directly and let them know you placed an order through WhereTo.
The download fee is your annual membership fee, and only subscribers will have access to the platform. This nominal fee allows us to maintain low delivery and processing fees. We are on journey to offer unlimited delivery.
